The Hospice/Palliative Care Team strives to promote comfort through symptom management. Comfort care includes drugs for symptom control and pain relief, physical care, counseling and other services. The team uses medicine, equipment, and supplies to make the patient as comforatable and pain free as possible. Mountain Regional is a visiting agency that is not intended to take the place of the family.
